Your oc had known sense they were born to stay away from the quote hoods and street people on the other side of their train tracks one day out of bordom you decided to cross the train tracks and wandered the streets it looked run down and bad you were suddenly surrounded by a small group of people one had a knife they were about to probably mug you when you hear a bottle smash you turn and see a kid with long slicked back hair wearing a scar and a patched up coat he was holding a coke bottle that was glass the end broken and sharp he looked smaller then the boys surrounding you

He glared at them, looking down on those smaller than him whom surrounded.
“what the f***.”

“Ey leave Em alone!” He yelled at the group the group grinned at each other “oh yeah twerp”
“you guys, look, look really dumb.” Reese turned away, whipping back around kicking one in the face before lashing out and punching another square in the face with no relent.
he decidedly kicked one in the dick, stifling a laugh.
They group quickly ran off leaving them pony boy yelled at them to not come back and fixed his scarf wincing at his cut up hand from the glass
he walked towards him, briskly at that.
“are, are you okay? that was quite, dangerous of you.”
Reese grabbed his hand.
He winced “I’m alright sir there’ll be running back to there broads after that” he spoke heavily of slang so he obviously wasn’t from the same side of the track he was
“yeah okay whatever, come with me,” Reese dragged him along, looking for a place quiet and not so litered and dirty.
They had some stores around one was a kinda run down dinner pony boy followed him
he found a nice place, suitable for medical care, if you could call it that.
“may i?” Reese sat down, waiting.
He nodded “Darrel will have my head if he sees that I screwed up my hand for a stranger”
“oh ok,” he did what any other wolf would, he licked at the wound until it was clean then wrapped tissue round it with a few plasters.
“make do with that.”
He winced and was a little confused at the picking but smiled "thanks mr..uh what your name?"
“My name’s Reese, now go run along, im pretty sure you have other things that r better to di,” he got up, trudging away from him.
"Wait uh I should stay with you while your here to ya know protect ya! Also my name is don't judge, ponyboy"
“why do you want to protect me? im okay,” Reese carried on, speeding up his pace.
Ponyboy followed eager to not loose the one person that didn't yell at him or hate him "Well uhm" he fumbled to come up with a excuse
he stopped, staring at him.
“Just go find, uh, Darrel was it? yea, its not that i dont like you its just i think you’d be better off without me.” Reese looked once more before trudging on further.
He grabbed his hand quickly "hey why do ya say that about yourself what nothing but trouble?, well we all are here"
"Oh I'm used to it Darrel gets onto me a lot for not using my head and some small stuff too"
“but i do it differently, i tend to, bite ir even kill, its a dirty trait of mine,” he began to run now, climbing stuff.

“its fine, just go.” he shouted from atop a building
Ponyboy returned home to his brother Darrel yelling at him for staying out so late
"No" he got up brushing himself off he was still kinda mad that he got yelled at he pulled out a cigarette
“do you seriously have to do this near me?” he climbed a tree to escape the stench.
He rolled his eyes some "your fine sir it's not like I'm gonna do something" he sat down against the building
“no i hate the smell of cigarettes, alot.” he growled a little, slightly annoyed.
"Well cause your kinda nice I guess didn't judge my name immediately aswell"
"hnfff, nice? that's a weird word, no-one calls me that," he glared back.
"No its fine," Reese leaped from the tree, standing up properly and holding him by his shoulders.
"I, I appreciate it,"
"hmmph, I'm kind of, bored." Reese hugged him, just, hanging off him.
Ponyboy just kinda hugged back "not much you can do around here hm"
"hmm, I could loom for someone to fcuk, that might be fun," He pulled away, looking around.
"its a thing I like doing, you're too young to be talking to this about."
Ponyboy looked surprised "no im trying to help ya sir" the group just bust out laughing
"Y yeah" the group was just like ok and turned there knifes towards ponyboy "Alright runt better run off before you get taught a lesson you'll never forget"
"Hey, Hey, Hey. Point the knives back at me. He's obviously just a kid." Mr. Tophat narrows his eyes at them before crossing his arms. "Are you really that low in your life that you'd hurt a defenseless boy? I'd say that's more pathetic than drinking your sorrows away at your mom's house on a Tuesday night."
The group scowled at him and just spit at him them stalked away ponyboy smiled some
"Oh I was just walking around when I saw ya get corner had my coke bottle so yeah used that" he dropped the broken bottle "and I'm not a young boy I may be scrawny but I'm 18 sir"
"Oh I don't wander I live here I know these streets also uhm my names ponyboy"
“It’s ok everyone around here looks pretty much the same not a rare mistake for someone to mistake someone for being apart of another gang and such”
The kid yelled at the others to leave you alone they just laughed

Seven stared at the new addition to the group surrounding him. he started to think that he was going to join in on the mugging and somehow felt even more exhausted.

The boy yelled at the group to leave him alone the group smirked at each other and turned there blades towards him "or what scrawny boy need a hair cut" pony boy shrank some but kept his ground
"that was a stupid remark." he thought out loud. "none of this is about hair."
he then stayed quiet and watched the interaction.
The small boy looked way to small and scrawny to fight these boys two boys neared him he only had a pop bottle to defend himself with he doged one of the boys quick jabs at his chest with the knife had and swung the bottle against the boys head hard
he quietly stepped away, wanting to get out of this situation. he didn't even want to help, he wasn't even supposed to be out here in the first place.
One of the boys grabbed him "where do ya think your going rat" ponyboy ran past the boys scratching himself up some and smashed the bottle against the boy that was holding him he grabbed his hand and took off running with him while the group shouted curses at them
out of his fear of touching he whipped around and bit the boy's arm and punched him in the gut.
"let go!"
Ponyboy having been stabbed some sunk against the wall with coughing "sorry" he rasped out
he backed away quickly, putting a hand over his heart to calm its racing and stared at him.
Seven had weird eyes so it looked like a rat was staring at him.
Ponyboy cleared his throat coughing some "I'm alright I'm not dead just a bit banged up"
he blinked a few times before walking off. he was a bit shaken up and didn't know how to properly string a coherent sentence together at the moment.
he walked kinda fast, hurrying back home and only stopped when he was a few feet away from the house then turned and looked back.
Ponyboy legit fell over and passed out he had followed him all the way home to make sure he got there
he stared. "gee, a guy saves you then acts like a lost puppy."
he breathed in then out and walked over picking him up (to the best of his abilities) and carries him in to treat his wounds the best he could and call an ambulance.
He was very light so he could easily be carried yeah bleeding a lot he just ded lol
he wrapped up his stab wound and then called the ambulance and explained what happened.
Pony eventually wakes up and kinda panic cause bro gonna kill him lol
he was sitting in and arm chair reading a book when the paramedics arrived.
Ponyboy got nervous real fast seeing them already imagining the lecture his brother would give him
Seven yawned and kept reading his book because hes not there anymore idk

Ponyboy eventually gets out and goes to his house again to thank him
am tempted to eat all the barbeque chips thatre in the kitchen rn o-o ))
katherine shifted a little, glaring at all of the boys.
Ponyboy yelled at the boys surrounding her to leave the lass alone

The group just laughed "were just giving her a hair cut but looks like you need one too"
She scowled "Number one, I have perfect hair and I love it. So if you dare cut it off, I'll get real angry and you know never to anger a girl." She smiled sweetly "number two, Can someone just fvcking tell me what is going on?" She went back to scowling "Y'all are so ugly its making my head hurt"
Ponyboy snorted in laughter and covered his mouth the boys growled angry
She smiled "now if you excuse me I'd like to go. AND don't cut his hair, I like it." she smiled and started walking away
One of the boys stepped infront of her to stop her "not so fast missy"
Ponyboy had snuck up behind the boy blocking her and smashed the bottle over his head knocking him out
She turned to him "heyy, thanks! Now, I have to go" she turned around on her heels and started to sprint away
Ponyboy had grabbed her hand and ran off cause boys were trying to chase them
She soon made a sharp turn, right into a house. She locked the door behind them
She let go to get a chair and she put it at the door. "You okay?" she asked, finally turning to him
she scowled. "Anyways, welcome to my home" she gestured at the small cottage. "It may not seem like much but I promise its not boring at all"
She smiled but also looked the slightest bit worried "What was it like?..."
