LinkLITERALLY SINCE DAY ONE PLS- my first milestone I remember was winning my fourth grade solar system painting contest but i've been doodling since preschool :D
Sorry for the big paragraph-!
but my big piece of advice is to learn anatomy before stylizing it! When I was in elementary-middle school, I spent a few years just drawing anime pictures i saw off of google. After a while I found it wasn't getting me anywhere. So I started watching tutorials on youtube and mimicking peoples drawings I saw on pinterest/insta to get a feel for human anatomy. Once I got that down, I was able to start stylizing it and it came so much easier. Just learning how to draw shoulders and necks will give you a great start. And then you can move on to learning how to draw a full bust shot, and eventually move on to drawing a whole person. My anatomy isn't perfect by any means but these are the steps I took to get where I am today!
Another word of advice is to trace. Its controversial but tracing other people's anatomy is a really good way to learn. But only if you do it on your own time. Don't EVER try to post it, profit off of it, or show it to others without proper credit.
