So just because I was curious, I asked him "What if I was a boy?" The first thing he said was "Then you would be me" I expected something like that because he's five. I replied with "Well I wouldn't be you" and he said "Yeah but you would be a boy" Then I asked "What if I felt like a boy, like I wanted to be one" And then he said "Then you would be a boy, you'd be my brother not sister" Who would've thought that a five year old boy would be more supportive than my own parents

I love that kid so much I'm going to protect him with every millimeter of my being
