LinkYour once lovely and beautiful earth was no more and was infested with chemicals. A nuclear breakout. Ever since it began you had been searching for survivors or any form of life form. You were getting pretty exhausted after days and days of finding nothing. You decided to find a place to rest and make shelter. While walking you found a trap for food. You looked around, and just a few seconds later, you get pinned and suddenly have a knife to your throat.
NOTE: This is a new AU I created where you can use an oc version of yourself in this. So it's you but just AU'd.
He looked confused. "Southside? How stupid do you think I am?" He hissed, the knife pressing on Will's throat.
Will: Southaide New York! I've gone across states in search of survivors! *he started shaking violently*
He huffed. "Fine then." He released Will of the headlock. "So big, yet so afraid." He chuckled softly. "What's your name?"
Will: M-My name is William...but I go by Will...what about you? *he shook then breathed out slowly, he wasn't completely scared, he was trying to control something inside him*
"Nice name. I'm Kolver. Sorry I scared you. Just wanted to know if you were deadly or not. You don't look rather equipped though."
Will: I eh...got something that I use. *he looked at his hands, which had small fires in them*

"Uh huh. "
(I got a backstory to it, don't worry. He's a genetically modified human with extraordinary abilities, the only one he has is fire.)
Will: *he put out the fires and sighed* So...why are you here?.

"Just trying to survive."

Will: Likewise. *he twitched and smiled a bit*

"Have we met before?" He arched a brow, though it was hard to tell due to the fluffy hair covering like half his face.
Will: ...I don't know, I was on tv a few times before the outbreak because of my abilities...
"Maybe that's it, but I haven't seen any TV around ever since this whole outbreak began. I still remember the soft leaves..." He sighed. "But at least I know there are still a few survivors. Now come, into shelter before another bomb around here explodes. There's a ton around here, but I know that if I go anywhere into the Battlefield, I'd die immediately." He began to walk away, back from where he came from.
"Not that I know of. You got any companions?"
(( I forgot to mention this but canonically as well, your pets can be an aid as well. Bilet is Kolver's, yes, but is a whole lot bigger and deadlier. ))
(( what happened to it? ))
"Ah. I see. Well with your abilities, my wits, and Bilet's strength, I'd say we got a team. That is if you're in." He opened the door to an old cottage, posters of BIO HAZARD warnings all tapped to the wall. He had a set of collars, either for him or his dog, Whiskey. He sighed. "I really wish I could breath fresh air again."

"I only am able to make tea right now. I'm thankful I have the tools to filter water. So, what'd you like, mint, chai, or peppermint?"
"Feel free to explore if you want. If you see Whiskey and he has any dead animal, bring him to me. Oh and Bilet too. They're both out hunting since they're immune to the gas. They can just filter it. It's pretty cool." He began to make chai and mint tea.
Will: *he stayed where he was, about to pass out from loss of sleep*
"Sleep on the couch. If you sleep on the floor I have no problem stepping on you."
Will: It would probably help with my back. I broke it a long time ago and it never healed right.
"Good for you." He finished the tea and walked over, sipping his chai tea and putting Will's mint tea on the table.
Will: *he took it and drank it slowly* ...So...how long have you been here?
"A few days after the outbreak. The house I used to live in collapsed and I barely made it out. Almost took one of my arms."
Will: ...Wow. I was stuck in a lab for two months after the outbreak.
"You know, for a tall and muscular man you are very childish." He chuckled softly.
He finished his tea and pulled his mask back up. "Oxygen feels poisonous itself now."
Will: *he sighed and looked at him* If...If you ever need to kill me and take my eyes, they have a chemical in them that give me immunity to anything toxic.
"Why would I kill you? And that would also explain why you have no mask. I was wondering about that."
Will: If I become...hostile...at any time, you have to kill me and take my eyes.
"Nothing as of now. Unless my trap's have something, or Whiskey or Bilet comes back with food, we have nothing.:
Will: :O Can I nap with you? I've been alone for so long, I forgot what sleeping with someone was likem
Will: *he got onto the couch with Kolver and hugged him* Thank you.
"No problem man." He curled into Will's arms and yawned, closing his eyes.
Kolver was still asleep, his arms and legs wrapped around Will with his face buried into the crook of Will's neck.
Will: Alrighty then. *he got up and wrapped his armd around Kolver, walking to the kitchen to get something to drink*
Will: *he wheezed and hugged him back while coffee was being made*

He slit open his eyes and smiled. "Hello."
"Doesn't mean you can treat me like a child. I'm smarter than you."
Will: What-
That doesn't make sense-
*he made confused noises*
Kolver looked confused. "Borderlands? Is that some kind of nuclear game you play outside or some shit?"
Will: *he saw a bag that looked familiar to him* ...Where did you get that bag?
Will: ... *he opened a secret pocket on it and pulled out a pendant* ...This was mine.
Luna squeaks, eyes widen and she stiffens. Her tiny hands shake and stay by her sides, afraid to move anything. "W-W-W-Who a-a-are y-you...?"
"Of course." He nodded and began to walk in the direction he came from.
"Sometimes I am. I'm mostly just wary of the bombs." He opened the door for her.
"I grabbed a few saplings before the breakout. I was lucky they survived."
"Sure, they're in here." He led her into another room where three saplings were in pots. "The plants are resistent to the radioactivity I think."

He shook his head. "They'll be alright on their own. If they can survive this long, they'll make it."
"The air is toxic now, if me or you breaths it in we'd be poisoned by radioactivity."
"My mask filters out carbon dioxide. I breath that. At first it hurt, and I thougbt I would die. But no, I m special I guess.'c
"Well you've got this long without a mask. What air could kill you now?"
