i honestly just woke up at the time and i was actually in a pissy mood so that whole thing was mostly because i was pissed, i knew seizure jokes were offensive but i still am confused on how the other thing is offensive so i genuinely apologize

its alright! I'll explain it for you since im disabled and know more than most abt it!! basically ree was a way of mocking mentally and often physically disabled people by flopping down on the floor and "screeching" extremely loud. it was a way of not only publicly trolling and shaming disabled people but also adding to fear mongering and stigmatizing around this minority group by making them seem loud, annoying, and; by flopping around and yelling, undesirable to have around
