new season was a jumpscare the ending was low-key unexpected for me

help I didn't rewatch season one and I thought the guy was a different one and not the one who won the last squidgames because he looked all bony and like he'd mug people in alleyways it was scary

but then they deadass just got shot and died such a jumpscare I also didn't watch the two episodes leading up to when he got dropped into squidgames because I was just interested in seeing the new games so I probably just didn't find the context of why they were doing what they were doing
