It takes place after the end of the show when they move back to the country. And since they’re in the country, they aren’t safe from chip. It’s sort of a cobra Kai twist.

Chip on Chip’s shoulder: a big city greens fan fiction We open in on a small room, it’s filled to the brim with clutter. Papers scattered across the floor in an unorganized clump. Dozens of red cork boards line the walls with various pictures and newspaper articles with red string.All of these papers and pictures and clutter lead back to one family, the greens. In the back of the room was a desk, in which sat a familiar man, Chip Whistler. He looked to be in a disheveled state, though his metal teeth were still in, he looked bad everywhere else, his once perfect hair was now sticking out in random places. His suit was gone, replaced with a stained tank top and bathrobe and had the stubble of a guy who hadn’t gone out of his house for weeks. His eyes were bloodshot as he sorted through all the miscellaneous papers on his desk.

He threw the papers off the desk and slammed his head on it. “there’s nothing else I can do” he said defeatedly. All of a sudden the doorbell rang. He got up sluggishly and waded through the piles of paper to the office door. He went through the living room, which despite its name, was dying. burger clown wrappers scattered around the coffee table, a stained green couch that looked almost yellow from wear and tear. And a tiny tv humming with static. The kitchen wasn’t much better, a mini fridge sat on the grimy countertop, takeout boxes scattered around the room. There was no stove, just a small toaster and a microwave.

He got to the door and straightened his hair. “I’ll pay rent in a few days, I just need more time” he said while opening the door. On the floor in the doorway was a big city times newspaper. “Oh” he said “wait, I don’t get the news!” Someone must’ve put it there by mistake he thought. He picked it up and discovered a small note attached that read “ there’s still hope for you chip -anonymous” who was this person, chip thought and why did they like me? He brought the newspaper inside and unrolled it. He went over to the couch and sat down. He flipped through the papers. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, the mayor being re-elected, the Remingtons getting a second house in the country, new cafe gaining traction among residents, and-

He gasped, on the second to last page in bold font “green family farms relocated to the country” it had a picture of the green family in front of a for sale sold sign in front of their old house which is now their new house. Gramma wasn’t in the picture, presumably still living in big city. He read “the green family moves back to country after years of city life, and the farm goes with it. The farm stand, which used to sell the best produce the city could offer, is moving too, that means no more green family farms in big city. We interviewed bill green and here’s what he had to say “ the reason we moved here was because we couldn’t support the farm back in the country. But from the funding we’ve gotten from the stand we can afford to move back in” so that’s the scoop on green family farms. probably one of the slowest news days we’ve had in a while.”

Cuts to the next day, an alarm goes off in his room and he jumps out of bed. he goes into his closet and finds a familiar suit. “It’s been a long time, old friend” he said to himself. He combed his hair back to it’s former glory, though it was a bit longer now. And he shaved off that stubble. He walked to the door, this time with a confident stride.“Get ready greens, cause I’m ready to get revenge, with all the stuff I don’t have” his confidence faded.

He walked over to the couch to try to figure out what to do. Clearly this needs more planning, he thought. He couldn’t just go over and say hi, that would be crazy, and sneaking was out of the question. Maybe I could just pretend I have something planned and figure the rest out later, he thought. Because after all, the most important step right now, was making contact. And he got up to leave.

As he got to his car, which was a bit damaged in the front but was otherwise okay, he noticed something on the window.“What’s this” he said picking it up. It was another note. It read “ do you know where you’re going? I do” then an address, presumably the greens’ location. Who was writing these weird notes he thought, and how did they get this information?

He didn’t linger on it too long and got into the car. It was your average amount of messy, not too clean not really dirty, there were some scattered things like old maps and pamphlets, fast food napkins, one O cards, the usual. He turned the key and started the engine, and he was off, with the dubiously acquired location put into a digital map on his cracked mobile phone.
