LinkSo this is a Blue Night snake. It obviously gets its name from the blue belly and black back and yellow stripes. This is a hot(aka Venomous for those not in the snake community) snake so yes they are dangerous, but snakes hardly attack people. They only do so when they feel threatened and can't retreat or it is because they think the person is food because they might be in feeding mode or they smell like food. These guys have a calm temperament so they are easy to handle as long as you make sure that you take care of them and that you do still handle them regularly. They need a heat pad since they hide underground in the day and will need places to climb since they like to stay in higher places for hunting purposes so they stay up there at night. These snakes will eat anything from birds to fish so they aren't picky eaters. They do need a high humidity though due to their natural habitat.

LinkThese guys came from a dream I had and so yeah. I actually have dreams about snakes a lot. I even had one last night(This dream is the only reoccurring dream I have) where I check my snake Naela's tank and I see there are a bunch of other snakes in there and so I'm just pulling out a bunch of baby snakes and I'm just like wtf, where'd these guys come from? Naela doesn't interact with other snakes, the only other snake in the house is a female so these can't be her babies, but how did they get in here then? And Nae is just chillin in the corner of her tank without a care in the world because she is just the best snake
Ah yes, Salsa.
Also wtf how you got the head so good, snake heads are so hard for me
Granted you have a live visualz
Actually I didn't use references and I can't use Nae because she's a Corn so she's not a hot snake so she has a very rounded head. The way to get a proper looking snake head though is to round it. Start with sharp lines then round them out like you might if you were drawing the corners of a dorito. For the snoot be sure to draw down because their snoot isn't flat and the top half makes up most of that space. And with the angle I drew, have the nose holes at the top of where the snoot starts so it gives more shape. Now if you are doing a rounded head for non-hot snakes I suggest you start with a circle and repeat the process for drawing the snoot.
