Keiko lifted their head up from their paws and looked over at Hailven. She was breathing heavily, doubled over in front of them. "What are we studying for?" They ask, dazed.

"The math exam! Mr. Jamal says that while I'm good in all the Hero classes, if I can't pass my general classes, I might fail the school year. I know you're really good in school, and Shinji is taking a nap, and Riley is bad at... most things." Hailven held up a note she got from Mr. Jamal.

"Oh, uh," They pushed themself up and stretched, arching their back. Keiko tilted their head to one side, "I don't usually take notes, but I can help you copy yours."

"I can help both of you I guess... for a price."

"How much?" She fished in her pockets, as she had just gotten a promotion at her job. She didn't need a new uniform, it's whatever.

"A ball of yarn, 2 nights at the foot of your bed, and a key to Shinji's door."

"Okay, but I move around at night. But don't you get into Shinji's room with the vents? Why do you need the key?" She sat on the couch next to Keiko and picked up the whiskers they left on the couch.

"Last I saw they were cleaning their horns." She shrugged.

Hailven knocked on Shinji's door. He groaned. She opened the door adn picked up her Pokemon cards, and took a photo of his key. He slaps his arms around for a minute, but goes back to sleep.

Hailven laughed to herself, and she blasted the original Pokemon theme at full volume.

Keiko batted happily at the yarn, rolling onto their back and stretching out on the couch.

Shinji sat up straight and screamed at Hailven. She just bent over laughing.

"I scared you?!" She laughed and ran out the door,

She came back into the lobby to see Keiko papping the yarn.

Keiko's ears perked up at the sounds of yelling. Seemed like Shinji was finally up. They grinned and rolled onto the floor.

Keiko shrieked with joy, turning the car left with a sickening screech. "Yay! Guys, we're here, also so is Shinji!"

"Shinji! You already fractured your ankle, and now you're puling this shit?! Keiko, stop the car!" She jolted forward, putting their hand on Keiko's shoulder.

"Okay." She sighed, and moved Keiko to the passenger seat. She started the car, but drove through to the cafe's drive through. "Do you guys want anything?"

"One black coffee, no milk, no sugar. 3 dozen donuts, assorted please. Also can I get raw salmon?" She said it quite casually. "Uh, ma'am, we can't serve you raw salmon. It needs to be cooked." The woman said. "Alright, but please keep it as rare as possible." Hailven sighed.

"Thank you." She picked up the food, and passed the coffee back to Shinji. She dropped the box of salmon on Keiko's lap. "Share with Calixto. Save some for when she wakes up." And she put the donuts on her lap.

"Dude I've been your neighbor for 19 years. The coffee runs I've gone on are endless."
