Link- start with a circle, then draw a snout. In my style, a shorter snout means a younger dragon.
- next is the horn. The horn should start and end somewhere in the purple shaded part. Try experimenting with different horns- it can really determine the character of a dragon.
- after that is the eye and eyebrow thingy??? Welp. I can’t give much help on eyes, I just draw a oval with sharper edges. Bigger eyes mean younger dragon. On the drawing are eyes displaying different emotions.

Link- next are details. I’m sketching a water dragon, so I include a lot of webs and fins. I also put in some scales and patterns on the face.
- the neck. For the front part, I draw an inverted s, and for the back, an inverted less-curved c. I connect the two with an arching line.
- I then add scales and marks, then lastly, I color. This is one of my more lazy styles, I use a transparent color and shade with a darker transparent color.
Then, ur done!! A dragons8m dragon sketch.
