i mean here's the thing i took lessons from around 2nd grade to 5th grade, so around 4 years? and then i took a break, learning by improvising for the next 2 years. i hadn't touched the piano (and learned a piece as advanced?? as this??) in a long while, like maybe another year or two. i don't think i touched the piano much after i suffered a loss and uh so now i'm here, learning this like o would when i was taking lessons ^^

that's cool! I took lessons from like 4th or 3rd grade to 7th grade and stopped when the lockdown happened. I haven't been back, but last christmas we got a guitar and since then I've been devoting every spare second of my time to piano ahah. The thing is that I just don't do well with reading notes, so now I use my ear, improvise, or look up synthesia tutorials and write down all the notes to learn them lol. :D

i used synthesia and a copy of sheet music for this! it's really easy once you find the repetition of certain phrases ^^ here's the tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMzPvtMaB6Y it's accurate to the original recording and helped me a lot with learning this piece.
