Chapter 8 Start Caring About Your Own Well Being Or You’ll Get Hurt My shoulder was still in great pain, but I wasn't on the cold wet cement in the alley anymore. There was something on my face, a mask? No, it was just covering my mouth. It was hard but easy to breath. “Am I in heaven? Am I dead?” I thought to myself taking a deep breath before I decided to open my eyes. “Azumane-San” I heard Uraraka gasp as she leaned over me, when I opened my eyes. Her eyes were filled with tears. “Uraraka-San?” I said as I tried to sit up, but my arm was in pain. “Easy now, you’re hurt. Recovery girl will come in soon to give you surgery” she said “Forget about me, How are the others? Are they hurt?” They are fine, no one hurt them” she said.

“Why are you helping me? You barely know me? Why was anyone helping?” I asked as I took off the face mask with my good arm. “A good hero helps anyone, bad or not, everyone should be saved” she said smiling. A ton of students from Class 1-A started rushing towards me through the door. “Azumane-San, How are you feeling? What did Shigaraki want with you” Midoriya asked. “Are you all right, how is the arm?” Iida asked over Midoriya. “Nebae, I rushed to get help, I am sorry I couldn't help. I could have saved you” Kirishima said, looking down embarrassed.

“Everybody stop,” I said, silencing everyone. “You don’t know me, and I am fine, I am worried about you. He wanted me for a reason and, you all could be in danger cause of it” I looked down clenching my fist. “What does Shigaraki want with you, and for what purpose?” Todoroki-Kun said, making his way to the end of the hospital bed, pushing Midoriya and Iida out of the way. He had a stern look on his face, he looked into my eyes as if he was worried. “He is not worried, I just know it though, I am his servant, I mean nothing to him” I thought to myself, staring right into his eyes as my own eyes started to tear up. “Shigaraki” I started out looking down. “He wants me to join him in the league of villains, when I know how to use my quirk, or he will-” I said quickly, stopping myself. “Or he will what?” Todoroki-Kun asked, leaning closer. “Or he will.” I paused again, tears falling from my face and onto the bed sheet. “He will kill class 1-A, the people I care about” I paused again looking him in the

Todoroki-Kun” Eyes bursting with tears. “I can’t bear to lose someone again” “So you're just going to betray us so we can live?” Iida said with a stern voice. “I never told Shigaraki that I was going to become a villain. I am going to be with him then make him kill me instead, and you all will still be alive” I smiled wiping the tears from my eyes. “Azumane-San, you can’t sacrifice yourself for us, we will find a way to keep you here. We will protect you. As for now you must learn to use your quirk” he said leaning back. “Thank you Todoroki-Kun but this must be done” I said smiling. “No, we care about you, Azumane-San I won’t let Shigaraki touch you” Uraraka said standing up and clenching her fists.

“Out of my way, this kid needs to think of her own well being sometimes” Aizawa said as he made his way to the other side of the hospital bed. “You have some severe injuries. Recovery girl is on her way to give you surgery” he said looking at my arm in a thick bandage. I went to go scratch the left side of my face, but there was a bandage on it. “I couldn't feel it before, I wonder if it is severe” I thought to myself. I looked towards the door, then so did everyone else. Recovery girl entered the room with a tray of medical supplies. “You people may stay if you'd like but it wont look good,” she said coming over to the same side Aizawa is on. “I am staying by her side, no matter what!” Uraraka exclaimed, smiling and holding her fists. “Then so am I” said Kirishima. “I will too, no matter how bad of an injury” Iida said looking at my bandaged up arm.

“Ok, but I warned you, it's not going to look pretty,” Recovery girl said, pulling off the bandage that was on my face. I glanced at Aizawa as he watched in shock, then towards Uraraka who was putting her hands over her mouth. Midoriya looked terrified as if a villain was standing over him. Kirishima, grinded his teeth together in anger, and Iida looked just as shocked as Aizawa. Todoroki-Kun’s hands were shaking, I could see them through the bed’s guard bars. “Is it bad?” I asked not to anyone in particular. “Is it bad?” Aizawa repeated, closing his eyes shaking his head. “It's really bad, I can see your skull” He said looking at it again. I felt my hand shaking as the pain in my left cheek grew stronger and stronger every moment.

Recovery girl moved to the other side of the bed to undo my nicly bandaged arm. I heard the bandage ripping apart as my arm suddenly hit me with pain. I sat up quickly moving my arm close to my body, gasping in pain. I could see Bakugou in the hall watching with a stern face. “Well If you would start to care about your own well being this wouldn’t have happened” Aizawa finally said to lecture me. “I don't care, I will break every bone in my body until the day I kill the one,” I blurted out, not meaning to. “Kill who?” Aizawa asked as he might have an idea who. “The one who burned down the estate, the one who killed my parents, and you can’t stop me” I yelled looking down at my hand which was no shaking much more visible. “I will kill anyone in my way, hero or not, I must be the one to kill the one who killed them” I said as my eyes teared up.

I look out in the hall where Bakugou was standing. He looks very stern but calm, hands in his pocket and looking at me. “I must get my revenge” I say, as everyone looks at me with concern, even Bakugou in the hall.
