some small broken up group of survivors found an abandoned UAC facility that was overran by jackals and other animals fleeing from the demonic invasion uhh
trying to get inside (debris closed off the entrances), the survivors were met with the animals, and ultimately killed uh
one jackal managed to escape though, and through some funky turn of events, Kurtis found him. Keeping him as a pet, he wanted to experiment with mutation and fusion so he lured and captured an Archvile and Cacodemon (whcih wasn't hard) and uh, using ****ed up demonic magic, merged them together. Yzedrae now remains as Kurtis' pet/helper, though has at times ran away before ultimately coming back because Kurtis is the only one who would want him

Yzedrae can't summon demons like an Archvile, and can't shoot anything from his mouth like a normal Cacodemon (or Kurtis). He can, though, ignite fire from his hands and melt metals, and has a special resistance to super weapons (kinda like a Marauder, but can be hurt/defeated by them)
despite being a rather massive creature, Yzedrae is extremely agile, competing with the agility of say a Whiplash.
When hit with the BFG or anything with Argent energy, he temporarily can actually summon pools of sentient lava to fight for him, but only for a short while

LinkYzedrae is able understand humans, and can somewhat speak human languages, but only broken english and small amounts of German (courtesy of Kurtis).
He can hide in lava, rendering him invisible from both eyes and heat sensors, which he does often since he prefers to sneak or stealth attack than come and use brute force, though if he stays in it too long he will start to glow white (because he will become white hot) and reveal his position if he's close enough to the surface.
Having lived in a UAC facility for a long time, Yzedrae knows the basic layout of UAC facilities and can find his way around them very easily.
