Everybody has their own definitions for it and HONESTLY it seems extremely stupid to me.. choosing to identify as no gender is one thing but I can’t wrap my head around there being more than two genders.

but, there are dozens of variations in chromosomes. The idea of only two genders is a modern-day creation. While it is most common for people to be born with either an XX pair of chromosomes (female) or XY (male), it has been well-documented that many other clear variations (XXX, XXY, XYY, XXYY) and slighter variations of the X and Y combinations are more common than many people understand. What this means is, even if sex decided our gender, there are far more than two sexes.
People with XXX, XXY, XYY, and XXYY chromosomes are beyond rare and usually have life threatening birth defects. I, having studied stuff like this myself, know for a fact that only a handful of people are alive today who are born as a sex other than male or female (like having no pp or having both).
Birth defects don’t make other genders. Birth defects make physical health complications.

my secret is i came up with the scheme of asking for a flag so i could have a very casual way to say im pan instead of having a sit-down conversation bc im not good at emotions
I mean. I'm all for your mom being ok with you,but it's on!y been 5 years since that's been legal and it's been like billions of years of just two genders. But I'm happy for you.
