Violet jerked her head up. She nearly leaped out of her fur as her head hit something. She glanced up, finding herself under a bush. Oh, right! I fell asleep here last night, she thought. She slid out of the small hollow, the bush scraping her back. She looked around, thinking. Her thoughts instantly turned to the dream she had. Rainbow flowers, multiple cats, the grey tabby.. What could it all mean? I've had this dream over and over! Although, the thing with that tabby's cyan eyes was.. new. She was knocked out of her thoughts as she walked into a tree. "Ack!" She yelped as she stumbled backwards. She shook out her long lilac fur, and glanced around. I should hunt, she thought, hunger slightly knawing at her. She looked around, trying to pick up the scent of prey. Her ears perked as she found something. She crouched down, pin-pointing a mouse.

She crouched down, pin-pointing a mouse. She was about to leap before the bushes by it rustled. The mouse tried to dart off, but a paw had it's thin tail down. A white tabby tom appeared from the bushes after killing the mouse. "Huh?" Violet tilted her head. "Oh, was this your catch?" The tom asked. "Well, it was. You can keep it, though." Violet's whiskers quivered with confusion. Why does this cat seem so.. familar! "Well, thanks. I'm Apex, by the way." "No problem, and I'm Violet." Oh, right! The white tabby from my dream. Weird.. The tom's gaze flicked around. "I'm guessing you've made your home here?" "Yup. It's pretty cozy!" She mewed. Should I tell him I saw him in my dream?.. No.. "Where's your home?" Violet asked. "Follow me. I live with my mate, June-bug, and my two kits." Apex walked off, picking the mouse up. She followed, a bounce in her step.

She was excited to go to new places, and find new friends. She was led to a small den, hidden by ferns and grasses. "June-bug! I brought prey, and a visitor." Apex added, looking at Violet. She followed him into the den, blinking to get used to the dim light. "Who's this?" Violet was surprised by the voice. She looked around, eventually spotting an orange she-cat. She was curled up in the corner, in a soft-looking nest. She had some darker fur, and then white. Also familiar, Violet thought. "This is Violet. Violet, this is June-bug." Apex meowed. "Hello." Violet said, dipping her head. "Hello, Violet." June-bug responded, flicking an ear. "Oh, and the kits." Apex mumbled, passing the mouse to the orange she-cat. Violet finally noticed the bundles of fur. One was signifigantly smaller than the other, to the point it was worrying. At the same time, Violet couldn't help but purr. They were so adorable! It seemed to be a ginger tom, and a brown tabby.

"This one is Auo," Apex flicked his tail towards the tom=kit. "This is Scarab." June-bug mumbled after finishing the mouse. At her name, the tiny she-kit looked up. She looked around, her strong, orange gaze resting on Violet. "Mommy, who's that?" The she-kit tilted her head. Violet purred, uncontrollably breaking a smile. "That's Violet. She's a friend." The she-kit hopped away from June-bug, over to Violet. "Hello, little-one." Violet softly meowed. "I'm Scarab. That's my brother, Auo." The she-kit added as Auo joined. "Hi." Auo mewed, staring up at her. "You two are so adorable!" Violet blurted.

There's a time skip here, so It ends there for now. )
