1. Get recognized. People like me might give shout outs to small users on here so you can gain more followers and more likes
2.post good art, art with a beautiful amount of shading is sure to get put on the popular page ! (As far as the well known artist on here)
be consistent and make friends, learn art techniques and practice your style with coloring and shading until you've found a style you like and then go off from there
don't have your expectations too high either, even some really good artists on here that i've seen only get less than 50 likes due to how dead the site is sometimes
commenting on your work after posting it can also boost it, since a lot of people check the "latest comments" section to browse art
