Icarus' wax body is naturally somewhat soft and malleable to be able to move, but when enraged, she begins to melt, effectively destroying herself in her anger. Her hard wooden carapace doesn't seem to ever catch fire, a layer of wax covering and permeating the shell, causing it to be immune to fire. Often after an outrage, she will collapse into a puddle of wax, but when calm, she will begin to reform, using her carapace as a skeleton to form off of.
