A young SeaWing stared into the deep blue water. He took a reassuring breath, and then dove perfectly into the water, barely making a splash. A few of the other students cheered and the instructor was amazed. After class two SeaWings walked over to the young diver. “Hey freak-claw!” the young SeawWing turned around to see the two jocks towering over him. “Nice dive, bet you can't do this!” they both jumped into the air and twisted wonerfly, then spread their wings and made a huge splash in the water. The young diver cringed. The taller and thinner of the two started screaming in pain. His wing was twisted. The young SeaWing and the other helped the flailing dragon out of the water to the teacher who was walking towards them. “H-He…” he pointed at the six-clawed SeaWing “The freak dragon broke my wing! He-he- he dared me to jump into the water with my wings spread!” the sallow dragon whined. The instructor stared at the young SeaWing. “I-I didn’t do it sir. They came up to me and jumped in!” he tried-

-to explain. The crusty instructor growled. “Hmmmm” “I-” “No comments. Now I want you to stay far away from him. Next time you lose that hideous sixth claw of yours.” the teacher walked away with the whimpering dragon. The dragon looked back and smiled at the young SeaWing, making slashing motions across his claw. The young SeaWing ran away as fast as he could. He dived beautifully into the water and hid in a coral crevice.
