so idk if this is original or not but my idea was this dude's brother was born with wings and wings in this universe would be a really rare trait or something so this kid was constantly getting bullied for not having wings when his brother did so he tried making his own from cardboard and such and then tried to fly off the mountain by his village and ~died~

usually when I come up with ideas someone else already has so I wouldn't doubt if it's not original at all
