isekai guy. literal incel in his past life, died a young adult, alone and unhappy, due to malnutrition since his mother stopped caring for him cause he was like a leech on her and she couldnt take it anymore having to care for her adult son like a child.
in his new life he awakens in a fantasy world, with a few new memories as a young teen. a kind family takes him in as their son since he was so young and alone. he has some decent magical power in this life, and turns out he is a child prodigy. he disckvers quite quickly the magic in this world functions exactly like his favorite game from his past life, with this knowledge he excels, with others not knowing how he could have such an advanced innate udnerstanding of the worlds magic.
he excels, being sent to a high end magical course with the last of his families money, exceling and being top of his class. he slowly begins to be recognized more and more, taking on quests and making bank, letting his family live comfortably before moving out along with his sister and new party members. his sister joined his party early on as she was worried for him, and mainly handles prep and supplies and such. she sources the quests for there party. coming from a slightly lowerclass background she didnt start out with the best education, but thansk to her brothers success she was able to get a better education as an adult. an elf ends up joining their party as back up magical support, as well as minor healing support. her real main role in the party is handling food and cooking, as well as their rations. aside from divining, she specializes in food centered magic
