LinkSun and Moon are the eldest brothers in the history of Packs. There were 8 brothers, Sun, Moon, Star, Light, Dove, Wind, Crow, and Rain. Sun, the eldest, and the founder of Fire Pack. Moon, the second eldest, the creator of the Moon realm. Star, the founder of Spark Pack. Light, the founder of Thunder Pack. Dove, the founder of Sky Pack. Wind, the founder of Breeze Pack. Crow, the first Loner. And Rain, the founder of Water Pack. Sun and Moon were the first brothers and the first founders of each of their packs. Sun was actually the creator or the reason for the under liers (Hell) after being banished for arson by his twin brother, Moon. Moon is the keeper of spirits and the ruler of the Moon Realm. The two all throughout their lives had never fought until the day Sun burned the forests for power and dominance. Moon had no choice but to dispose of his dear brother before he had the chance to destroy any more territory. In the end, the two were separated and ruled their separate worlds equally.

LinkAlso, you may be wondering "Why didn't he just kill Sun? Couldn't he have done that?" and no, that wasn't an option. These brothers were the firsts to gain powers that separated packs. Fire pack has the power of flame. Sun was the first who gained this power because he was burned to death and brought back to life due to a promise made by his younger brother who sacrificed himself for his dead siblings. The brothers who came back came back with the ability that killed them. With these abilities, they were made immortal. Moon knew this, so he created a new realm to keep Sun trapped in for eternity. They all eventually got so old their bodies couldn't keep intact, so their spirits ended up leaving their bodies, but they were still alive in some sense through certain wolves they chose. In conclusion, they're all still alive, they just live within' other wolves, wander the Earth or rule one of the two realms that exists.
