maybe cause most people here don't have a lot of money (like me) and want an online site with good tools and not just the typical corporate artstyle shit that's usually thrown at you
cause it's easy to use and we're all just lonely and will take any human interaction we can get idk
oh yea and free, i know a lot of people came to this site by searching something like "free drawing website" or a drawing website where they can chat with other people
