You ran out of your room and down the staircase, almost slipping on the shiny lacquered wood floors. Your cat, Cokanbals, meowed at you, purring needily as she wrapped her non existent tail around your legs; you stooped, petting her softly striped head, before walking out the door, "Bye, Cokanbals! I'll be home soon, okay, my babylicious fluff beb darlingkins?" You said to her lovingly, before closing the door and walking down the pale concrete sidewalk, lined with the heartsease and borage you loved so dearly. You took out your phone, trying to find the coffee places name

that Rick had told you. Bongwater Coffee was its name, and you, thought the name proved to be kind of sus, walked down the road, following the digital map you had opened on your hello kitty phone. When you were finally there, you opened the flora covered glass door and stepped inside. It was very boho-y, was your first thought; and it was. Turquoise painted walls with paper lamps, flowers on every table and very vintage but bright cloths hung on the leather seats, and the entire place had the comforting scent of pothead. Obviously with the scent, look and The Beatles playing on an old radio, you knew this had to be some kind of hippie cult gathering, and you thought you had the wrong place for a moment until a familiar voice sounded from the flower and fern covered corner, "Hey, (Y/N)! It's Rick!" He said, waving at you. You hesitantly walked to the corner, a bit confused but still excited, "Hi Rick!" You said cheerfully as you sat down on the comfortable leather seat, "How are you?" He asked, as a v

ery high waitress walked over to their table, "I'm good!" You replied as Rick gave his order. A small flood of sudden anxiety washed over you as the waitress turned to you to take your order, "U-um, yeah, uh, just a latte, or something, thank you." You said quickly, and the waitress turned and walked off without another word. Rick laughed slightly, "Why don't you tell me about you, (Y/N)? I'd like to get to know you better!" He said cheerfully. You looked at him with a small pause before saying, "I just like to.. draw and stuff." You said simply, and though your response reeked with awkwardness, it didn't seem to phase him, "Oh really? What do you like to draw?" He asked, interest evident in his voice, "Like, I mean I like character design but I've been trying to improve my realism." You replied. And since I find conversation very boring we'll just say you had a grand old time, he complimented your earrings, which you were very happy about, and you told him about your beloved cat,

which he in turn told you about his dog, Sckinee*****e. When you both had exited the building, he turned to you, "I had a lot of fun." He said, pausing for a moment before he drew his face closer to yours, "I...really like you, (Y/N)." He said faintly. The beloved moment came to a sudden end when a crowd of loud, excited people began to run over, "Oh my god it's Rick!" Said a brunette, and the crowd rushed over, encasing Rick in a wall of paparazzi, "I'll see you later!" Rick shouted, before being dragged off, leaving you in silent disappointment.
