the fact it'd be so easy to bring back to life as well just add the register feature back and people would naturally come to it in search of a free simple animation tool
perfect way to describe it. apparently this site used to have ads too according to some of the oldest users so he could make money off of it as well. it's a shame really
its over. new growth is not possible because people cannot create accounts. its a slow painful starvation. cutting off the air supply and waiting. its on purpose, there is no moderation, this website doesnt make money. its too much to take care of yet he doesnt kill it off straight away.
i have mixed feelings abt the death of fa honestly !! like i very much wish it would be revitalized BUT with the knowledge that it definitely will not be, i like this sort of tight-knit community
its also much easier to get engagement here (despite the smaller amount of people) and the engagement is also so much more meaningful than it is on, like, twitter for example
its sort of bittersweet i think
sucks that the amount of people here dwindle by day but at the same time how many art websites are there where everyone knows everyone else and we all appreciate each other's art and interact with each other the way we do
