*one early cold afternoon Ryan drove to Karma’s house as agreed for their play date, The jet lagged man parked his car in front of her property and opened the door before picking up his cat Coffee Bean and got out making his way to the front door while glancing around curiously as this was his first time visiting her place. Ryan hesitantly knocked on the door already feeling a bit nervous about coming in though he didn’t exactly know why*
Karma wasn’t good at..alarms..she had genuinely texted him and fell back asleep. She just assumed it was a package at the door so she didn’t bother to get dressed or anything. She just sleepily made her way downstairs in nothing but her tee shirt and messy hair. But as soon as she answered the door she grew to regret it. She kinda had to let it sink in that she was just in front of him..in her underwear. Benny made his way up to her legs and stared..Men. Ugh
Ryan: *he slowly blinked in sort of a daze before looking her up and down then opened his mouth as if to say something but nothing came out until he grunted. It didn’t take a genius to see that she just woke up, he was almost envious that he didn’t get as much sleep. Ryan’s cat stared at her Respectfully while he spoke up in a more raspier voice than usual* if I knew this was a sleepover I would’ve packed more comfortable clothes.
Karma giggled a bit, pulling him inside before anyone could see her and letting Benny up her shoulders. She yawned a bit as she closed the door. She wasn’t much of a talker when she’d just woken up, but it was late in the afternoon and she’d have to wake up soon anyway. She rubbed her eyes before speaking up, her voice a little softer and sleepier than normal “Mm..m-making coffee..want s-some?”
Ryan: *he let her do so stepping into the house before crouching and putting down Coffee Bean who chirped, scampering up to Karma curiously like the extrovert it was. The man gave a clear hum for an answer, as much as he disliked coffee it would’ve been his only hope for not dozing off today, it was ironic given what he named his cat* mhm.
She disappeared into the kitchen after giving coffee bean a small pat on the head, and forcing Benny to socialize. He started at the man with murder in his eyes, but he really wanted to play with a new friend. As much as he wanted to watch his lil lady, he couldn't help a bit of fun, he brought a cat toy to coffee bean and looked at them curiously. The coffee machine sputtered as it filled two cups, karma despised adding milk and sugar, and knew Ryan didn't like it much either. So she left it as is and brought it over to him..what a cutesy cup..
Ryan: *he pulled off his timberland boots, feeling Benny’s eyes on him he stared back for a moment until the cat walked off and the only thing he thought was how much that cat probably loved him. Yeah- he uh..most definitely “loved” him- why else would he stare. Coffee Bean looked back at Ryan as if asking if it could play, Ryan only shrugged and went to the couch. Assuming this is a mouse toy Coffee Bean playfully nudged at it with its paw*
Benny made a small mewl, the cat smacking the toy away and looking at them as if suggestion they go after it. He just wanted to see what the other cat liked before he played along, Benny was okay with any kind of play after all. Especially running outside. Karma moved over to Ryan, quite a lot more awake now. She set down the two mugs on the coffee table in front of them and teasingly took a seat on his lap. This was her seat now. She always acted like a bit of a princess around him, because it was her way of showing dominance as the older one of the pair. Making him tend to her was like a princess and a knight, two very different levels..it was just her way of rubbing in her authority
Ryan: *he was going to thank her for the coffee until she so rudely sat on him. He shifted his lap under her as if trying to make her fall off before sighing* just when I thought you’d be more peaceful when just waking up. What the hell are you doin’? *while that was going on Coffee chased the toy and swiped at it, sending the toy back in Benny’s direction*
Benny was so happy to finally have someone to play with, not that karma didn't play with him..she was just asleep 50% of the time and busy 30% of the time.Karma grinned and crossed her legs, she wasn't going anywhere. She took her coffee and smugly took a drink, leaning back into him and getting comfortable "Ahhh~ y-you make the p-perfect chair!"
