LinkYou lived in a pretty nice place. It was distant from other people, and was just overall calm. You were in your house when you saw on TV about a manticore on the rampage, supposedly destroying and controlling many regions and areas around yours. You were paranoid for a bit, but after a few weeks you forgot about it. Until it happened. There were screams and cries of horror when you were sleeping in your house. You go outside and its just chaos, everything was on fire, broken, or both. Many dead and burnt bodies were spread out over the streets, the fire warming the air cozily. You look through your window and see the manticore walking around, looking for survivors. You scrunched back a bit and apparently he heard. He looked at your house side-eyed.
Xebalba knocked, or more like destroyed, her door down and looked around the inside of her home. He tasted the air and chuckled.
He searched the normal areas where people would hide-in cabinets, under tables, etc. He soon got into her room and sniffed around more. He checked under the bed and smiled a bit. "You know I can hear your cute little breaths. Your scent is so incredibly strong. Your fear is too." He spoke loud and clearly, his voice echoing through the room.
"Such a cute whimper." He stood right in front of her closet, trapping her.
Deva: *she whimpers more and starts to cry* P-Please don’t hurt m-me, I’ll do a-anything.

"All I want is for humans to suffer! They ripped me from my family and killed them. I was forced to live and learn by myself. It isn't easy to cry every night knowing that your family could've been alive and with you if the humans never existed! So that's what I'm doing. I'm wiping out any threats that could harm me. Because I will NEVER let them hurt me again." He snarled.

"If I would spare your life it would have to benefit me. It does not." He bared his teeth at her.

He thought for a few moments before wrapping his paw tightly around her, picking her up. "Fine then. I'll keep you as a pet."
He busted through the top of her house and flew up, roaring loudly and spreading fire across the city again, claiming it as his own. He chuckled softly and then began to return back to his cave, keeping her tight in his paw, which was actually pretty comfy due to the warm pads.
Deva: *she holds onto his paw and closes her eyes tightly so that she didn’t look down*
"Good."
-soon they arrived at a large cave, which was probably quite odd since Xebalba was only just as big as a cow-
Deva: *she opens her eyes once they land and looks around the cave*
He walked inside and set her down, curling his tail behind her back and shoving her along as he continued walking further through the cave.
-the deeper they got the more warm and cozy it became. The grown in plants and leaves had taken over most of the cave, and the soft glowing mushrooms gave off a dim lighting. Some fireflies were in there too, lighting a bit more of the cave-
He soon stopped on a large area of soft moss, which was where his stuff was. And when I say stuff I really just mean trophies he's earned like human bones, hats, clothing of deceased people, just stuff like that.
"It is." He nodded simply and laid down on the moss. "I don't care where you sleep, just stay on the moss. It helps keep the coolness in while the air still lets you be warm."
Xebalba eased up slightly and smiled softly now that he actually had another speaking life form with him.
He grumbled softly to hide the fact he liked her near him, "Xebalba...yours?"
He sighed and rolled over, wrapping his arms around her. "There. Feel better?"
He woke up later that night around 9, yawning and opening his eyes.
He looked at her and just quietly watched her, admiring Deva as she slept.
He pulled and held her close for a few minutes before letting go and getting up. He stretched and then padded outside where he then left to hunt.
Deva: *she continues to sleep for another 30-ish minutes before slowly waking up*
He soon returned, carrying some sort of handmade sacks in his jaws. He set it down and the first sacks inside was fruits, nuts, and berries. The second sack was just meat. "Here. I got many things since I don't know what you like."
He rolled his eyes and picked up a few slabs of meat, crawling over to where he slept and sitting down. He trapped the pieces between his paws and began eating.
Deva: *she goes over to the sack of nuts and fruits, and after finding an apple, she goes back to where she slept*
Deva: I-I’m a Hammertail. You probably h-haven’t seen many of us before.
Deva: *she blushes more and shyly covers her face to hide the blush*
His smile very slowly became a smirk, then he looked like he had an awesome idea. He grinned and kissed her.
Deva: *she blushes much more and her eyes widen a bit, but after a few moments of surprise she kisses back gently*
He closed his eyes and pulled her closely, continuing to kiss her.
Deva: *she blushes more and adds a tiny bit of passion to the kiss*

S.P.: *she reappeared outside, she held her side weakly and started limping to the house*
