Also I don't know much about Megadeth but it makes no sense to me why they would do this. I get it's their final thing, so they probably don't really care that much anymore, but they absolutely have the money to commission something, and in using ai they're kind of just putting a stain on their reputation and probably losing supporters. It's not even good ai either it looks like crap. I think the only reason why using ai in a music video or on an album cover would be appropriate is if it was some kind of industrial, techno or electronic artist, because then it at least fits the theme of their music, lol

Album cover art is literally one of the best and most important things about the metal genre tbh. This is such a bad move and it also sucks that it's such a huge and influential band as well

NO UR GOOD I LOVE CHAINS. i havent listened to them since i found out abt it and i never listened to them that much in the first place but it jus made me mad bc u are SO POPULAR! U HAVE MONEY!! WHY R U DOING THAT!!! they could literally make a post on twt saying "heyy guys can u draw this.." and they will have hundreds of free album covers STOOOP!!!!!!!!

I still listen to them but I only like their old stuff, I love the there is a hell and believe me I've seen it album but I can't stand their new stuff. It's too emo and metalcore. Bro they literally released a lofi album like tell me you fell off without telling me you fell off. But I can only hope they learn that using ai like that is 100% gonna grant them a lot of backlash and it'll ward them off using it again
