so basically my school is a nerd school, meaning that the entire school is filled with a lot of socially awkward nerds

i didn't realize until recently that this isn't what all schools are like, i'd read books about teens doing drugs and hooking up and i'd be like "wth not another book exaggerating how bad school and teenagers are"

erm yeah it turns out that most schools do have all of that stuff and more in our school we have a fight break out maybe like once or twice every other year the craziest thing that happened in our school was one threat and we evacuated fr fr but apparently there's brawls and bathrooms where people hook up or do drugs

helllp i didn't even realize it was horrible until like last year i would literally scoff at any depiction of teens doing drugs/getting naught and be like "literally nobody does that" everybody does that my school was the one in the minority LOL
