Klay smiled slightly, “A lot of people like persistent.”

“So, does the whole persistence thing work for you?” He was pointing at a glass, causing it to float over to him.

Klay grabbed the glass out of the air, “Mm… I don’t see anything unappealing about it.”

“Hm. I guess things like that don’t necessarily scare me? Seeing as it takes a lot to hurt me even minorly.”

“Something like that,” He grinned, putting the clean glass away.

“Cougars, huh?”

Klay thought for a moment and leaned against the bar, getting just a little bit closer to Shade, “A lot of people find scars like that attractive you know?”

“People who look intimidating are attractive, at least in my opinion.”

“I guess, want some more?” Klay pointed to Shade’s glass.

Klay quickly refilled the drink handing it back to him, “You know what the best part of owning your own bar is?”

Klay turned around and grabbed a bottle off the shelf, pouring himself a glass of whisky, “I can drink on the job!” He grinned

Klay sat up on the counter, “You’re smart, I like that.”

Klay sipped his drink, “Why should I say?”

“Explain further, please..~” He giggled out as his face flushed. He was definitely a lightweight.

Klay leaned in, whispering into Shade’s ear, “Why don’t you show me what you mean?~”

Klay giggled at the sight, “Well we can go in the back..~”
