𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 Artix are creatures that have claws made of pencil lead and tails with a sticky, paint like substance in their tails. The paint like substance in their tails are called "palettes".The palettes in their tails are always the colors they have on them (no counting eye color, blood color, or the inside of the ears). Artix have lizard like noses, but have fur. They are about the size of a dire wolf. Artix also normally have snake-like tongues, but they can rarely have normal tongues.

𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐭 Artix have a diet of large mammals, mainly deer, foxes, cougars and rarely humans. Artix have claws made of pencil lead, which seem to sharpen by them selves over time. It takes about a day for their claws to re-sharpen if they were dull before. Artix mainly hunt by wrapping their prey in the sticky paint like substance in their tails, like how a spider wraps their prey up. The Artix will then eat the prey if it struggles too much. Artix will also attack if a creature comes in their cave. (or wherever they're living)

𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭 Artix live in dark places, like caves, abandoned buildings or anything that's else like that. Artix usually have to have a large space because they normally live in packs.

𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐬 Artix don't reproduce like most creatures, instead, once a year, they form up to 30 eggs made out of the paint in their tails. An egg will be one of the colors of their palette. Not all the eggs will be the same color though. Whatever color the egg is, the Cub will have that color. The cub will have other colors too, and but will always have at least one color that the parent has. Cubs are normally harmless, and the most they can do is gnaw at other creatures and their littermates. Cubs are small, have dull and short claws and are very playful and quite clumsy. Cubs are considered cubs until they are 3 years old.

𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 There is a Subspecies of Artix known as "Scams". Scams are known to be very dangerous and tricky. Scams are smaller, have bigger eyes, duller claws making them look more cub-like and cuter in appearance. This is very useful to them, as that helps lure human prey. They will go up to a human, and act all cute. Then they will lead the human into a cave (or any other place where an Artix pack lives) and then give a signal to the other that are hiding in the cave. Then, all the Artix will attack the human. If a Scam does this three times or more, Artix will make a string out of the paint, with a piece of paper on the string, normally with an "!" mark or the word SCAM in upper case letters and tie it around one of the Scams legs. This is good and bad for the Artix. It helps them notice it's a Scam easily, so the Scam doesn't have to give the warning signal. But it also can be noticed by the human, which usually ends up in the human getting away. (still typing-

One way to tell a Scam from a cub is that Scams are small, but still bigger than cubs. Another way is that they may have the string around a leg. The last way is that they have very sharp teeth, sharper than a cubs teeth.

𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 The sunlight actually burns Artix, not much but it does hurt them. They don't go into the sunlight for this reason, unless they have to. If they do HAVE to go into the sunlight, they'll try and get out of it as soon as possible. Artix are also known to mutate very easily. They can have horns, multiple limbs/eyes, goo tongues, ect.
