ok i take that back the movie was alright i guess but it does NOT deserve the praise it gets most overrated pixar movie to date

I think it was a good movie; the visuals were very pleasing to me and I liked the fluidity of the movements. But, it felt too... childish, I suppose? Everything in the plot was explained to your face, and the character development was rather shallow. However, it does bring some nice ideas-- I do like the idea of sea monster characters and I might draw my own at some point :)
