dw my dad felt the same about his abusive af stepmom dying (not the major rejoicing thing but happy she was gone and out of his life) so u definitely arent alone in the feeling lol
his stepdad was abusive too but he had more respect for him (so was a little sad he died) cuz he was in the army and marine corps, and treated my dad *slightly* better than his stepmom did so
