i) How many taxis would be needed for two couples each travelling with 3 suitcases and 1 set of golf clubs?

ii) Four ladies go to play golf each with their own golf clubs. How many taxis will they need to get to the golf course?

iii) How many taxis will a family of 6, each with their own suitcase, need to get home from the airport?

Each couple has 3 suitcases and 1 set of golf clubs = 5 luggage spaces. 1 set of golf clubs = 2 suitcase spaces. 1 taxi can take a couple, 3 suitcases and 1 set of golf clubs, so 2 taxis are needed for 2 couples.

12 spaces. Minimum number of taxis is 2.
