You were exploring a small dungeon and entered inside it, the hallway is the only way for you to exit. But a chest blocks your way.

*it becomes startled and hides back inside the chest*

*it growls at you with gleaming red eyes, most likely a no.*

*it bites your shirt and pulls you back inside, throwing you against the floor*

*it hides away from you, making a muffled threatening noise*

*it peaks out of its chest and looks at you with bright red eyes*

*it simply returns to its chest and sits there, guarding the outside*

*it looks at your offering for a moment and gladly takes it, going back again into the chest where you can hear it eating*

*It peaks outside the chest*

*its eyes widen and takes the 2nd piece*

*it looks like it remembered something and went back inside its chest*

*it comes back out and places a key made of silver with a obsidian gem on the floor*

(its fine) *it makes a hollow purr like some animal, and hops to a wall in the dungeon*

*it looks in your direction, and jumps up and down. it's way of saying farwell*

*As you leave the dungeon and find yourself back on the surface, you notice a some strange rocks just off the normal path*

*The rocks are oddly placed, almost like pillars. They have engravings of what look like pictures of crudely drawn keys. you see what seems to be the outline of a keyhole on one of the largest rocks*

*You insert the key in the slot, it makes a grinding sound and you see a stone chest with an iron chain around it rise from the ground on a platform*

*the key works on the chains but the chest is already opened, the chest looks very old and has moss covered on it*

*inside you see what looks like a gold madalion that has the symbol of a chest and key ingravings on it*

*it seems to have some sort of ring around it, like it was once a necklace*

*you decide to wear it, using some fibers as a rope*

*as you string it though the hole and wear it you feel like you can sense a certain power in the distance*

*it growls at all of them, faking a lunge*

*it looks at Alexander with beaming red eyes, the chest revealing the sharp rows of teeth.*

*the creature moves Alexander away before slamming down the chest's opening, echoing in the small room*

*it hears what you are trying to do and lunges at you, teeth open wide*

*it makes a weak laugh at them and returns to its place near the exit*

*It simply goes back into its chest*

*It pops open a bit, the creature looking though the slits in the openings*

*it quickly grabs the apple and brings it inside its chest, you hear muffled crunching sounds coming from the chest*

*it finishes and comes back up, spitting the seeds out*

*it takes both of them and then returns to its chest, you hear bone cracking from the inside of it*

*they pop out again, Placing an empty container on the floor*

*the creature seems to be looking at a certain pillar in the corner*

*the pillar looks like a key, with a big black stone in the middle of it*

*The stone felt cold and hollow, it's been there for a long time. Just underneath the pillar was a small outline of a keyhole*

*the creature looked at you and then whent back inside its chest, you hear muffled pieces of metal being clanged agenst each other from them*

* the chest burst open, and a golden key with a dark blue sapphire gem fell to the floor just beside your feet*

*the creature goes back inside Its chest and pulls out a very old piece of paper that says: I can't talk to you, but inside I can tell you everything*

*the creature nods and gives you another piece of paper, attached to the paper is a dark grey key with the symbol of a chest as the handle. The paper reads: only this key can let you into my domain, it's also the only thing that you can get you out. The chest shuts tightly and locks up*

*as you steep inside the chest you fell like you are diving into water but you can still breath, it feels warm and cold at the same time and you feel like you are falling*

* a sharply dressed figure appears, they have a black Cowboys hat and sharpened bloodstained teeth* Chester: ask as much as you like Arco.

Chester: well yes you can touch me, while this may just be my avatar I am real. (I could not think of any other hats so I chose that one, reflects their personality somewhat)

Chester: well you see, this place is almost infinite. What you may only see as a small chest can actually fit 5 Galaxys. I mostly use the space to store keys tho. (lol)

Chester: I am mostly organizing the keys that I hold, And If I'm not doing that I'm just hunting for food. There's sometimes not enough for me. I was starving to death before you came in.

(lol, that is hilarious. Might draw them soon after this) Chester: well you see, the catch is that since you are in my world I have power here. everything bends to my will. And yes the chest is a part of me, a vessel for myself but I dont have any time restrictions on how long I can stay outside or inside the chest.

Chester: basically yes, thankfully you feed me before coming here so i did not have to kill you for your meat.

Chester: you know, I could strip you of your powers in a snap. This is my domain remember?

Chester: hmm... good point.

Chester: the exit is this way *turns around and walks into the dark abyss*

Chester: here it is. *You soon reach a chest, one that looks very similar to Chester's chest but it looks new and has golden handles*

*the store's shelves are a bit bare and don't have much food on them, but just enough for a good few meals*

*the victim looks around and then walks out of the store. Carrying a bag of pienapples.*

*as you walk away you notice a steel medallion on the ground, it has some blood on it and looks like it was from the person you just killed*

*The medallion has two symbols on it, a golden key on one side and a crimson chest on the back. Its heavy in your hands and you decide to put it away in your pocket*

*the store has everything you need*

*In the alleyway you see a sewer drain with a keyhole on it, its almost covered by torso of the person who you just killed*

*you see the outside of the dungeon, its stone gateway still open*

*They go deep inside the dudgeon's rooms, eventually you find Chester in one of the large rooms counting some rusted bronze keys*

*They turn around to look at you and they immediately hide away the keys*

*They take a handful of raspberries and goes back inside the chest to eat them*

*they pop back out again with a piece of paper, it says: Why did you come back here?*

*They write down: you found it, didnt you?*

*they see the madalion and writes down: the chest of the ancients are kept in that place, that madalion is only a half of the key to open the gate*

*they give you another piece of paper that says: take me with you to the hole in the ground, I can help you open the gate to the ancients. But I'll keep the madalion on me for now*

*they shake your hand and Chester goes into its nutral state (a chest) and you pick them up*

*as you reach the destination Chester hops out of your arms, they pop back out with a key made of bones with a green emerald attached to it.*

*they nod at you and then looks at the keyhole in the manhole, they put the key in the hole and the manhole covering moves away and disappears. A dark abyss now is what you can both see*

*Chester jumps into the hole, you see them fall down and seconds later you hear a crash come from inside* (I gtg, we will continue this tomorrow)

(im back now) *You keep falling down, what feels like seconds feels more like hours. You do hit something however, a pool of cold water with Chester floating on top of it*

*Chester pulls out a large oil lamp, as they turn it on you can see the rest of the aria. Concrete walls with grass and moss growing on it, carvings and depictions of keys and keyholes all over the walls*

*Chester grabs your body and puts it inside their chest, carrying you with them and leaving a small opening for you to see everything.*

*you reach a spiting point at the end with 3 different hallways, each one representing one of three symbols: the golden key, The crimson chest, and the keyhole of the void.*

*Chester nods but then flips the medallion over to the other side where the golden key is showing. that means theres 2 paths to chose*

*Chester pulls out a piece of paper, it reads: "you go to the path of the crimson chest, ill go to the golden key. take this phone so that we can keep in touch while we explore". Chester gives you a small phone with some blood marking on it as well as an oil lamp to light your way*

*Chester waves at you and hops into the dark hallway, not needing a lantern and instead using some night vision camera they pulled out themselves. you cant see them anymore*

*More and more symbols are engraved on the walls with depictions of more keys, chests and keyholes. One picture however catches your eye, it looks like a group of people with blue and green outlines. The people with blue outlines look like they forced the green outlined people into some sort of chest. you notice that they look a lot like Chester*

*As you walk down the hall you almost trip over some wire but you catch yourself before you walked right into it, a very lazily put together trap*

*As you cut the rope a giant axe swings just inches away from their face, you run past it unharmed.*

*You eventually reach a pit full of sharpened sticks and some stone pillars, there is also a thick vine hanging from the ceiling. jump or swing across.*

*they land safely on the platform and head though more traps and puzzles, they survive them all and find themselves in a room connecting all 3 exits*

*theres a small black journal on the ground its covered in some bones*

*The journal has only 5 entries, the first entry says: "I've just killed one of those chest monsters from a nearby dungion, they dropped the skeleton key I needed to open the gate." The second to forth entry's talk about the three paths and what traps they hold, whoever wrote this however took the keyhole path. The last entry says: "I've been stuck here for 2 weeks, I should have brought the madalion so I could escape. i decided to poison myself so I can leave this stone temple for good. I lost the skeleton key a long time ago but I've made sure to keep the lock near me. The keyhole of void will always stay by my side." You notice a pile of bones in the corner, maybe it's whoever wrote this*

*you find a steel lock in the pile of bones with detailed pictures carved on it, it's small keyhole as black as midnight. This must be the keyhole of the void.*

*you hear the sound of iorn scraping the floor it was Chester, they looked very injured and the chest had been bashed around revealing flesh and blood. They manage to crawl their way into the room*

*Chester gives you a blood soaked paper that reads: "Those traps got me, its not easy dodging them while in a chest". They pull out some medicine from their chest but are to weak to apply it*

*They nod at you, telling you to do it. they also pull out some duct tape to use on the chest*

*after a while you patch them up, looking a lot better than what they used to. they pull out a small flashlight and head to the gate ahead dragging their body to it.

*You both reach a giant stone gate, it has the same carvings as the ones you saw earlier. you can see the 3 symbols of the key chest and lock, it seems to be a missing the symbol in the middle.

*you take out the medallion, it looked like it was craked and something glowing was showing*

*you decide to break the medallion in half, inside you find a glowing emerald gem about the size of your palm. its surprisingly light in your hands and looks like it was ment to fit into something.* (Wait, we have been doing this for 3 days?)

(wow) *the emerald fits inside the slot perfectly, the gate slowly opens to reveal a room filled with treasures and chests filed with gold*

*Chester was already running into the room, picking up a gold brick and saving it for later*

*you notice that the wall is soft and isn't hard like usual. It tastes vaguely chalky and cold. Chester is still grabbing loot from the room and is stuffing it into their chest*

*The wall felt like any other stonewall, you notice that the wall was very good at leaving markings when you used a rock on it. this is what may have made those pictures you saw back there*

*Chester taps your leg and gives you a empty sack, They want you to help bag the loot*

*After a while you both have cleaned out almost all of the loot effortlessly, now theres only one thing left to do. How do you both get out?*

*Chester grabs whatever they still can before following you, bringing a oil lantern to light the way back*

*You both see many engravings of keys and locks, one has what looks like a giant bear as a drawing. Theres also a group of people with a yellow outline on the walls*

*You both come across a large cavern with 3 paths, the bottom is filled with bones and sharp steel spikes. You have to chose one path*

*The path breaks beneath your feet, you almost fall to your death but instead of landing on the spikes you land on Chester. Chester is screaming in pain due to the amount of sharp objects impaling them*

*Chester is bleeding uncontrollably, even with duct tape the blood still flows from their chest. you look around where you are to try to get out. You notice a stone door that has a lock shaped hole where the handle should be*

*the door has no handle and only a lock shaped hole, you remember that you have still have the lock of void and put it inside the hole. it still does nothing however. maybe you need a key.*

*There is nothing there exept for the door and for a while you still dont know what to do, at last you decide to talk to Chester still knowing about the state their in.*

*Chester opened the chest slowly, they look weak and look at you with tired eyes. They seem to already know what you need and hands you a stone key with a keyhole symbol.*

*surprisingly Chester follows you, leaving a trail of thick blood as they go. The hallway is dark and your oil lamp is low and lights a small aria while you both walk*

(oof, my bad) *the hallway keeps going, almost endless. the pictures on the walls show a group of blue and yellow people, a bear sits beside the yellow group while the blue group has some sort of green gem*

*Chester hears that you dont have much left and pulls out a flashlight for you, its light is dim and can light the way for only a short while. You explore more and notice more pictures on the wall; it looks like a red group of people killing the blue and yellow people, standing above the red group seems to be a blood red crown. after the red people kill the blue and yellow group they look like they are hiding away chests inside multiple doors, chests with green outlines.*

*the chest bites your hand a little, there's no blood but there's a nasty wound*

*it had no effect on them and now you are fighting a burning chest*
