The smol laid on the cold concrete floor, dazed and in pain, tearing up as she weakly looked around for help
Sylvester walked down the sidewalk, looking at his phone and not paying much attention to his surroundings. He needed to get back to work but he was kinda taking his precious time.
Karma let out tiny cries for help, she felt too weak to scream..her legs..was that blood? Oh no..her body was trembling as she tried to stand but fell back down
Sylvester heard her and looked towards her direction. Once his eyes settled on her, he instantly dropped what he was doing and rushed over.
He kneeled down to her level on the ground and spoke, concerned,
"Are you okay?! What happened to you...?"
Karma burst out into tears, trying to get away from the much taller man. She looked around for an exit
oh yeah i forgot sylvester is like ****ing 6'2 LMAO
Sylvester halted for a second, then spoke softer, realizing she was skittish.
"Hey. Hey.. It's ok. I'm not gonna do anything to you. I promise."
He gave a smile reassuring smile to her.
Karma hesitated, but looked down at her legs and decided it was best for her to run to his arms, crying and hugging him tight
He hugged her back, his concern growing by the second.
"Who did this to you??"
The smol baby was barely able to stand straight, needing to use him to stand. She cried into his shoulders and shrugged
He sighed,
"Look, you shouldn't stay here. Is it ok if I take you to where I work? I'll do my best to help you."
"I assume it might be hard for you to walk..." He added.
He stood up, still holding onto her to make sure she didn't fall, and then he lifted her up,
"It's not that far away. Maybe.. 2 blocks."
Karma nodded, her tail briefly wagging. She rested her head on his shoulder and unfortunately it seemed she wasn’t done bleeding..a pool dripping down her legs and into a pool on the floor
Sylvester tried his best to keep a quick pace that wouldnt disturb her. He knew she needed more help than he could give but she didnt want to scare her by calling 911 and having EMTs rush around her.
As he was making the walk, he asked,
"I didn't get your name, by the way... What is it?"

Karma nervously played with her hair, the smol was nonverbal whenever she was this size, so she traced her name on his shoulder with her finger
