LinkI feel like saying "bring back bullying" is such a dopey take, honestly. Usually the reason its said is so stupid to, like someone would would be using neopronouns or something and for some reason that directly effects you enough to wish harm on them?. Bullying is the direct reason why we have school shootings and kids killing themselves at 8 years old. I don't know what kind of bubble yall live in but a kid being a little different is a lot better than absolutely crushing their soul reason to live. The human mind is so delicate I don't understand why it takes yall so long to gain a sense of empathy

LinkAnd as someone who used to be severely bullied as a kid. It doesn't even help you at all, if anything it stunts you for so long. I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemy.

LinkThat's all
If I’ve ever gotten bullied, it was bad enough for my brain to suppress it to cope. I doubt it was going to make me *commit* since I was around 5-6. But- yeah, no. Bullying should never be an accepted, commonplace, ‘normal’ behavior.
Actually, I just remembered getting bullied for wearing ears and a tail.
I’ll admit that the ears ‘n’ tail weren’t a great idea to wear, but that doesn’t excuse that one of my own classmates made me cry.
I think the only instance where bullying is acceptable is to make nazis and anyone bigoted feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Their intolerance makes every space unsafe and if you drive them out first you can protect everyone. I don't think theres any other instance where bullying can even be remotely justified. A lot of people just want qn excuse to treat others as subhuman and the easiest way for them to do that is to normalize shitty and amoral behavior.
The internet is a less accommodating and a more grounded place than being present in the world will ever be like
I've come to terms with the fact being face to face will always be more rewarding than allowing ourselves to believe we can control who we are on the internet, as versatile it can be
People want to act without facing any consequence, the internet is one of those places you can't be as easily reprimanded
I personally think any form of bullying acts counterintuitively to any intentions of proactivity, its too easy for us to simply act on words of harshness in any given scenario
