this reminded me of the time my dog chased a rat into a hole ina fence and started tearing it up and the rat was bleeding and it was stuck in the fence and its rear end was pink and fleshy and bleedy so i had to usea a plastic bag to pull it out of the fence while my dog was still tearing at it

it was like alive for 30 minutes until i got it out and threw it in the garbage

This rat was still alive when I found it, it was gasping for air and it’s nose was bleeding , pretty sure it was internally bleeding until after a few minutes of suffering it passed
