You and swift had been friends since high school, you two were so close and would often handout. One day, you had called her so she could come over to your house and just chat or something. But she didn't make it. It was now night fall and you heard sirens from an ambulance outside your house, you went to check and when you did you saw a car accident there, a truck drove into a car and someone seemed to be on the roof of the car. You then notice, that it was swift, she, had gotten into a car accident. You ran over to the accident, crying, Swift was badly injured, gasping in pain as she laid still, soon passing out. She was taken to the hospital soon later and you went to see her, she laying on the hospital bed, her eyes dull as she stared at the ceiling, you wanted to know how the accident had happened

Lucy was sitting next to Swift’s bed. She found herself awfully awkward in hospitals, it was an odd fear she had. She hated getting sick and hurt, and she had a lot when she was a kid. This place was too familiar. She was fiddling with a book she took from the shelf at the corner of the room. She didn’t bother to read it because she often fell asleep when reading. She was quiet for a long time, making the awkward silence in the room thicker. “Uhm… Swift?” She looked up at her friend, her pale blue eyes shining a sort of pain her face wasn’t meant to show. “Are you feeling okay?”
She hugged herself, her ears pinning back to her head. She lifted her hand and touched her shroom necklace. “I hope so. Don’t lie to me, okay?” Lucy sighed and shook her head. “How did this even happen… how?”
“Ah, Swift.. you know things happen when you drink and drive.. why’d you do it?” Lucy felt a pain in her chest and she choked back a breath, the fur on her neck rising. She didn’t want to be mad at Swift, not in the condition she was in. If anything, stress was one thing that she didn’t need on her shoulders right now, she just needed to heal.
“I’m sorry. You don’t have to tell me..” She whispered, putting her hand on Swift’s. “Just rest. If there’s anything you need, I’ll be right here.”
She examined Swift. The bandages, the IV, the still, white and gray room… she wished they could be somewhere else. Anywhere else. “Swift… you’re going to be okay without me, right?”
“Good. Because I won’t be here a night.. I have stuff to do at home, and I’m babysitting my cousin’s kid.” She smiled a bit and patted Swift’s hand.

Lucy looked up again, blinking. “You okay, Swift?” She mumbled, feeling her shake.
She watched her, the pain in her chest growing deeper. “Do you need a nurse?” She whispered, shifting closer. She hated to watch Swift in this condition, in made her hurt in the worst way.

Evelyn cried into her hands "s-swift your not going to die. No" she said mostly to herself

"Stay with me" she said it more urgently this time, she wasn't going to ask what happened until swift was ok, until swift promised she would always be with Evelyn
"Swift! SWIFT! Please don't die, no, come on you can do it! Come on!" HEr voice cracked inbetween
"swift, answer me, will you stay with me?" She asked, she needed to know she needed swift to stay alive
"Swift" she blubbered "tell me you'll live, you'll survive this"
"Ok" she said
"I'll let you sleep now," she kissed her cheek and walked off
She turned back hearing the heart monitor going quicker "Hey, you ok? Be honest"
"W-what?"
"False alarm?" The doctor asked with pure hatred in his voice
"What- no her heart rate went straight up, I swear!"
"SWIFT!" She screeched
The doctors got to work quickly
"I'm afraid you'll have to leave the room, ms.Evelyn"
"NO! NO SWIFT!'
The other doctors pulled her out the room while she cried
She was escorted back into the hospital room, over the moon to hear swifts heart monitor beeping again.
She ran to swift "swifty your alive" she sighed, using her nickname they had when they were younger
She stroked her hand calmly and whispered "I love you swifty" under her breath
"ok" she whispered.
She left the room again, waiting for swift to recover was pointless, she'd be there for weeks
-the next day-
She came back to visit swift in the hospital, the doctors had been working really hard on her and said in a few days she would be out of the hospital.
"Hey swifty!" She murmured excitedly
