this doesn't even do her nearly any justice she was so pretty and smart. she didn't like other cats but that was ok

Mama kitty has been with my family for 11 years. I found her when I was 6 on another property and I had always wanted a cat. I fell in love with her and I knew she loved me too- she always stuck around and put up with me and my dumb kid shit like putting her in socks and picking her up like a baby. She cuddled with me when I was stressed or scared of something, she looked out for me, she brought us pray, she was funny and talkative. She was probably one of the best cats I will ever have or know. She was attacked by another cat and got multiple infections from it. She was never a good patient and put up a huge fight every time I tried to feed her antibiotics. She lost her sight maybe a few hours before we put her down, I watched her. I laid in front of her and watched her while she lost it. She cried out because she couldn't see, and I talked to her the whole time. She deserved all the love in the world and we gave her what we could.

I know this is bait. I know it's supposed to upset me, and you'll get a laugh out of it. But genuinely, I hope you get an animal who changes the trajectory of your life completely. I hope you adore it, I hope it's the most wonderful and beautiful experience you'll ever have in life. And I hope when that animal gets sick and old that it has a peaceful death knowing that you loved it more than anything in the world.
