She used her powers after getting a flashback, of finding her necklace with a note: "To whoever finds this necklace: If you wear this, it will give you magic powers. To protect you and your friends. The thing is, the powers don't run out, and the necklace is unable to break. But if you remove the necklace, you will lose your powers until you put it back on. Sincerely, The Magic Shop Employees (This is a stupid name, I know)" She didn't know how to read at the time (She was like, 3 months old lol) but she liked shiny things so she just took it, hoping the note was a good thing.
