LinkGREAT story. I love speculative evolution and the idea of humanity in a billion year chronicle becoming myriads of horrific monstrosities bc of evil space bugs then reclaiming back intelligence to finally take over the evil alien bugs from outer space

the only way i know how to do it is do it by reference, and a ltitle bit of tracing
once i finally get the shape of the figure, I proceed to add in the details and blur the edges with a transparent brush, and then for the filter, i usually add lots of dots and copy and paste until i have enough that it covers the whole canvas, and then i make it transparent enough to see the final piece and then im done
