OK OK So Out of my several several aus,, this one is one of my favorite,, Basically, Kai *was* a princess, and her father, Daren was a warmonger- one of the strongest men throughout the several kingdoms. With Daren’s reputation amongst other kingdoms, he feared for Kai’s safety and basically locked her away. Anyways, time came to pass and word of her spread throughout the land, which brought in several suitors because they figured, hell- if they could marry her, they could make an alliance with one of the strongest kingdoms. Suitor after suitor was declined- because Kai was thoroughly displeased. She was sick of being stuck in a castle. She wanted to experience the world. That’s where none other than the Knight of the North, Erix Crux, steps in. This man adorned in armour fashioned to look like a dragon strolls into the castle, unwilling to show his face. Daren is actually admirable of him because of Erix’s reputation, i mean- he’s known for conquering inhuman beasts with just his bare hands, so

Daren is like,, this dude could definitely protect my daughter. Kai is still not convinced,, and Erix.. wont reveal his face And she’s like “you expect me to marry a man who wont even show himself to me?” And Erix is like, “Uh yeah?..” Anyways, thats a whole conflict in itself.. but then he offers something that she can’t refuse. Freedom from the castle. He promises her that he would basically show her the world and that he’d teach her valuable skills instead of just having her sit in a mead hall as a trophy of sorts- This catches her attention. After careful consideration, she agrees to go with Erix- and its a horribly long and treacherous trip back up through the mountains. Anyways, thats when she meets various people in Erix’s campaign such as the mage, Hyatt and a big khalani fella named Warden. They basically travel for a few weeks before things get Rough.

During a massive snowstorm, the party gets split up, and with Kai not really having any survival skills in the slightest(because yknow.. she was practically spoon fed her entire life),, she manages to separate herself from the group. And that’s where Khan comes in. A huge f*ckin Khalani mage who was exciled by his own people because he practiced the dark arts. Khan has this ability to read peoples auras- and unfortunately* for Kai, he is intrigued by hers. Anywho, Kai wanders into this guys ‘territory’ and basically stumbles right into his home, which is a deep cave on the mountain side. She sees a cavern full of pelts and a fresh fire and assumes it was her group who was there She was wrong.

Basically to sum it up for the most part so far,, Khan is like “lmao you’re stuck with me because if you go out there you’ll die.” So Kai is basically stuck with this beast of a man,, But he actually turns out to not be so bad.. even though he scares her because he teases about the rumors of the Khalani’s blood thirsty tendencies- But yeah, in my story rn she’s stuck with Khan in the cave, waiting for the storm to subside And Erix Is loosing his shit because he just lost his wife lmao

It would be an absolutely insane fight because,, Both Erix and Khan have these gifts from varying “guardians” and well They both just have these supernatural capabilities So the fight would be intense.
