Got 2 black tshirts for 3 quid each in penny's (couldn't find plain tshirts in the charity shops) and got some fabric paint and I'm planning on doing diy band shirts for me and a friend
my school held one of these kinda and it was so fun i went w some friends and bought the worst clothing imaginable
OHHH yeah I remember in primary we had like fundraiser events where you could buy old clothes but charity shops are so goated (way better than 'thrift/vintage' shops usually they ramp up prices if those are in the name 🥀🥀 evil)

IT USUALLY IS IN ACTUAL THRIFT PLACES… but because thrifting became popular and glamourised now places that openly boast thrift are stupidly expensive, but local or even chain charity shops will usually do way better prices (ie: thrift shop advertised as sooo vintage I went to in Dublin was selling waistcoats for 40-50 quid regardless of brand meanwhile a random local donations/charity shop had one for literally 3 quid)
