Literally history in the making Biden dropping out came out of nowhere and he kind of held the nation’s prospects and the new democratic representative Kamala Harris is gonna run shortest campaign in us history (~100 days), if she won she’d be the second president who’s poc and more importantly the first female president which is really exciting and on the other hand the republican representative, Trump, if he got elected he’s be the first felon who’s president and the implications of that are still totally in the dark, either way this is a lot of firsts for the states, a really exciting election and it encourages a lot of people to vote and the number of voters might be record breaking too because of the excitement and polarity of the situation
