Aspen was shocked to hear the wolf’s name. It seemed like a faded memory or some sort. “It’s nice to meet you Zakari!”, Nebular suddenly spoke interrupting Aspen’s thoughts. Zakari stood up from the ground and faced Aspen looking at her weirdly. Aspen blinked and turned around avoiding eye-contact with Zakari. She looked at the red wolf and made eye-contact. Aspen dipped her head in respect as the red wolf had saved her life. The red wolf seemed to hesitate in shock as if no one had ever shown respect to her. The red wolf blinked and dipped her head in return. Aspen turned towards Nebular and looked back at the red wolf. All of a sudden, the red wolf was gone! As if it never existed! “Weird..”, Aspen thought before turning towards Nebular. “We should probably go”, suggested Nebular as she looked at Aspen. Aspen nodded, agreeing and Zakari looked at them. “I-is it ok if I go with you guys? I don’t have anywhere else to go anyway..”, Zakari stuttered.

Embarrassed, Zakari looked down at his paws waiting for an answer. Nebular looked at Aspen and then smiled, “Of course you can!” Zakari looked up in surprise and relief as he was accepted to go with them. Aspen looked far away into the trees and had a feeling of what to do.. To go find the red wolf. It seemed right to her. “So where should we go?”, Nebular asked both of them. For the first time ever, Aspen looked up boldly and confidently saying, “We need to find the red wolf that rescued me..”
