Linkas much as i would love to talk abt how racism is avoided on this site too unfortunately i. am not educated enough to talk about it and i dont wanna come off like a performative activist talking abt it so any poc who experience this feel free to say it here

Linkbut like. idk how it took me so long to figure this out but maybe it was the fact that even when i led yall to my post talking about how people chastise me for my anger over ableism yall didnt listen. it still got next to ignored compared to posts i made on transphobia, panphobia, just generally. Gayphobia and its so ****ing frustrating. shoutout to the legit like two nts who actually paid attention and stood by me

Linkit might just be me forgetting who's nt and who's nd but tops? rn i can only name like three nts who stood with me at ALL when i called out ableism and i thank those guys, i assure you it's enough and im not asking you to be the best ally. you three did more than enough and i thank you for that

Linkand i get it! it's hard to talk about topics you're not experienced on, i just said i dont feel comfortable talking about racism but that doesn't mean i dont try when i see it. though i know i can improve w it i try to talk about how poc are excluded from a lot of other minorities (namely lgbtq) when i can
i still have a lot to improve on and a lot i could do better and yet somehow i manage to be able to do more than most of you.

yall lose your minds when someone says "gay bad" in a joking way but famous users get to say ableist slurs infront of everyone and nobody bats an eye

Linkside note now that i say that actually. if anyone knows poc creators who DO talk abt this stuff i'd love to follow them so i personally can improve (and i also just generally think it'd be helpful for people who do this)

omg. amino is full of dumbass people who are constantly saying that r*tard isnt a slur. it pisses me off. i tried to speak up, but the entire chat i was in was saying that it wasnt even a slur anymore. i have multiple disabled family members and it broke my heart.

i try to. educate or even talk to people about -ism -ist and -phobia etc but the usual response i get is “youre a literal child, you haven’t experienced enough (insert problem) so im not going to take you seriously.” or they dont listen or j ignore it. or i get blocked. but sometimes i just. get scared to talk about a certain thing because i know im gonna get yelled at by people. or im gonna get called out for “harassment” and i just. idk. i dont really help in these situations. this made no sense and its probably a stupid reason but. uh. 🧍🏼♀️
