*Your father wakes you up, singing happy birthday. He tells you that today is the day, you finally get to have this gift that he's been telling you about for months. He said it will help you in life, and that it's special to only you, that it is your own, your pet. At this you immediately knew he was getting you the puppy he had been wanting for...well,forever. He leads you downstairs, to the basement door..which is odd, because that's where dad's office is. You don't really care, and you open the door, sprinting down the steps. You freeze, looking at the glass pane cutting through half the room, like a cage. You see a scrawny young girl inside, she looks...terrified. The door shuts behind you, but you know there isnt a lock- you don't CARE, because...this is wrong. So very wrong.
