Sadly this story doesn't have a happy ending. My sister (7) has gotten into a habit of catching bumblebees in a box then setting them free again. This time the one she caught had gotten its head knocked off in the catching process. It was still alive and fully responded to actions such as when I tried to touch it. I was rubbing it's headless neck(?) with it's legs and eventually just sat there contemplating it's life decisions. In the end I could tell it was suffering so I put an end to it and it is now buried in the corner of my garden. R.I.P Headless Hamilton
