Cough Aight- one sec. *one day sorta near noon Kyran had taken Mira-Jane on a walk since she hadn’t been out in a while, she seemed pretty happy about it but he felt something was amiss, like he wasn’t seeing something, he couldn’t place his finger on what though. Mira on the other hand had her thoughts filled, mostly with her new job she picked up not too long ago, she had been trying to keep herself busy to keep her mind off of something and it seemed to be working too, she had completely lost track of time until Kyran offered to take her out- the two wandered along the streets in a comforting silence with no plans in particular*

*Mira’s hand gently traced a brick building as she stared at it with a blank but tired stare, Kyran was happy he’d gotten her out he actually wanted to say something too but he didn’t want to ruin her peace, especially since this was the longest she’s went without almost being killed or- anything hectic happening really..when things like that popped into his mind he’d only think of Kai, he wasn’t sure what to think of him now.. as they crossed another road Mira looked ahead while The Werewolf opened his mouth, hesitantly speaking. He felt rather bashful when being the one to break the silence, trying to start a conversation*

*Kyran slightly blushed as Mira let out a small giggle at his awkwardness, she happily replied and kept the conversation going. To Kyran she made it look so easy since obviously he wasn’t the type for pointless conversation, he let out a huff and looked ahead, giving her a few glances to show he was listening and replied more confidently, his huge ego falling into it as well but it didn’t bother the sea bunny, she only laughed and he laughed along as well. The continued the lighthearted conversation until Kai caught Kyran’s eye and he didn’t seem to be far either, his smile slowly faded into an almost emotionless expression, he seemed slightly..upset? Mira hadn’t noticed any of it yet, she was just playing with her hair with a small smile*

Kyran: *even if the Lion didn’t know he glared his way, he seemed so happy even after all he did and yet he left Mira like this? He moved on just like that?* ..hey, Mira maybe we should go to the cake shop I seen a few blocks back. Mira-Jane: *she noticed the change in his tone and looked up at him with a slight worried look before curiously looking around which she soon enough regretted doing, she noticed the lion ahead and began slowing down*

Kyran: *he was just about to grab her hand and get her away but he noticed he was too late, he stared at Kai, cursing under his breath as he stood behind her, his stare only got colder by the second* Mira-Jane: *her eyes slowly widened as his eyes left his phone, her smile faded and her ears lowered. Despite the nice day they were having that managed to turn into nothing in an instant, she could feel her heart beat faster in her chest while her eyes stayed glued on him*

Mira-Jane: *she was barely able to take being six feet from him and now he was getting closer. He..didn’t look very threatening though, she had to fight with herself to stay in that one spot. She briefly glanced at Kyran before looking at Kai once again, she still felt angry at him at him but found a way to suppress it unlike last time* Kyran: *he didn’t quite like the thought of that house cat coming over, he couldn’t help but be on his guard..almost like a dog. but it wasn’t too far fetched*

(Oh my ggggshsns- noo he seems so happy- don’t make me do this- 😭😭)) Mira-Jane: Dakarai..long time no see. *she looked up at him, trying her hardest to give a slight smile, wondering how he could just smile at her like this, how he could just bounce back so easily. Her hands gently lifted, wrapping around her waist almost as if hugging herself* Kyran: *he kept his eyes on the lion, not wanting to leave her alone with him again*

Mira-Jane: *she averted her gaze from under her hair, she knew it’d be a challenge but- god this was harder than she thought. She cared for this man deeply but she couldn’t get what happened out of her mind, she bit her lip* we’ve..b-been g-good..keeping busy a-and all- *she inhaled, slightly stepping away hoping he wouldn’t notice. She didn’t want this to turn out bad again but he was getting to close for her to handle* you? Kyran: *he clenched his teeth, one step away from pulling her away from him. God..why did he have to trust him*

Mira-Jane: K-Ka- *she paused before giving a small sigh* Dakarai..I..don’t k-know if it’ll w-work. *she glared not only at Kai but herself, why doesn’t he understand that things can’t just go back to normal? Their relationship wasn’t perfect but they held each other together and he just threw it away because of-* Kyran: *the small bit of hope this man had for Kai to have some awareness* Kai.. *he murmured, it was barely audible though. He wanted to let her handle it but seeing him..*

Mira-Jane: *she clenched her fists giving him a glare, he’d missed her? Did he miss her when he ran away leaving everyone behind without a word? She Blurted out* WHY? So You can break My heart again? Cheat on Me? Leave Me?? Do You Still Not Know What You’ve Done Wrong Dakarai?? Because You’re Acting As if Everything Will Be Normal Again! Kyran: *he was about to step in but Mira seems to have done that on her own*

(I fell asleep sorry but I’ll really have to go soon. I’ve- overstayed my welcome.) Mira-Jane: they..They Can’t be- Not Until You Prove To Me You’re a Better Man! *she yelled, her eyes slightly stung from the tears forming in her eyes and It was too late before she realized she lost her temper again, it felt so foreign to just- do it at the drop of a dime like this* Kyran: *he’d never seen her that way before, it was almost scary*

Mira-Jane: *she shakily inhaled, trying to calm herself down while reaching for her skirt clutching it like she always did. Mira’s voice trembled as she replied somewhat sternly* how about you start by being more reliable.
