LinkSpeckle' scorch looks over to his mate, but what he saw wasent what he wanted to see..he wanted to see her beautiful fur and hear her georgious purr, but she was dead...a badger had killed Sky' pelt, speckle's only reason to be happy- was gone... prologue: The wind blew down the warrior's fur sending chills down their spine. The air was thick with fog and smelt like rain. The ground was soft underneath their every step. Suddenly a big boom of thunder and lighting had com from the sky. A tree burst in flames falling onto the warrior leaving them wounded. . . maybe even dead. . .
part 1: The clan murmured. . . was he dead? Thoughts ran through Rain Pelt's head. . . If Clear Sky was dead how would she raise their kits alone? Would she ever feel happy again? just thinking about that made her dizzy. Water Kit looked up at her, his big blue eyes staring into her's, "Is father dead?"
"no, no. . . He'll be fine." she had doubt he would be okay, she just didn't want to scare her kit.
last part (a few years later):
Clear Star looked across his clan, glad to be alive. His mate Rain Pelt was in the elder's den, his son Water Wish was the medicine cat, his other son Bracken Step was his Deputy, and his only daughter Robin Sky was a warrior. He was proud of his family, for they had made him who he is today. . . as for Mud Star (the former leader) he gave up his last life as a leader to be a kitty pet, WHO WOULD WANT TO BE A KITTY PET?!?!? Right now all he knew was his clan was strong. . . even though they thought he had 6 lives. . . the worst secrets are best left to the one who has it. . .
